May their souls rest in peace...

"BLAZE"
CH (SA, BR, BR Gran, PAN, INTL)
NERASCKA EMPORER OVTHSUN

There’s sadness now, we cry, we weep,
our gentle Blaze has gone to sleep.
He asked for nothing but gave it all,
right to the end, to that final call.
When it’s time for us to take that final
ride,
that fearful trip to the other side,
our journey there will bear no strife,
we know he’ll be waiting, as he was in life.
When Blaze was just a little
puppy, beside him digging craters he was as
good as gold, despite being a Siberian
Husky. He was the kind of dog that one just
has to love, many of my puppies he raised
and taught them how to behave. I remember
the time he spent in Brazil and how much I
missed him, not a day had gone without me
thinking of him. I was just over the moon as
he returned to us to spend his retirement in
the comfort of our home.
With tears running down my face and my arms
wrapped around my “Blaze” I felt his life
drain out of his body. He was the apple of
my eye, the sunshine after the rain; he
simply meant everything to me. Now I look at
the empty cushion in the corner of our
launch and no longer will I see him laying
there with his dark brown eyes looking at
me. This acing heart of mine will mend but
the piece that went with Blaze will never be
filled. Words cannot express my loss ….. |

"LEATHER"
FOXFIRE LEATHER N LACE OF CASSIAR
27.10.1997
- 15.02.2010
|
 |
We wish
somehow to
tell you,
how empty we
now feel.
A part of us
went with
you,
a part that
time can’t
heal.
We wish we
had you back
again,
to fill this
empty space.
But one day
we’ll be
together in
a far,
far better place |

Leather was
bred by
Cherilyn
Lang,
Cassiar
Siberian
Huskies and
came to us
as a 3 year
old. Every
dog is
different
and they all
have their
peculiarities
and
Leather’s
was that all
new cow
hooves had
to be
pre-chewed
by him
before the
rest of the
gang could
share them.
He was a
gentle sole
with a very
soft voice,
which he
exercised
before
feeding
times and to
express his
joy. He
controlled
his run with
a gentle paw
and lived
happily with
his
grand-children. |

"SHAKIRA"
CH NEBRASCKA A DREAM TO KEEP
16.04.2002
- 09.02.2010

|
 |
When
golden eyes
no longer
glow,
And we both
know that I
must go;
Don’t look
at me with
eyes so sad,
But think of
better times
we had.
For the
final act of
love,
You released
me to the
heaven
above.
And remember
me just as I
will,
Always think
of you
until.
At last
again I see
your face,
grieve not
For I am at
my final
place. |
|
Shakira was
graceful,
feminine and
effortless
in motion.
When playing
with her,
she would
give you her
gentle paw
and roll
over on her
back for a
good tummy
rub. We miss
you dearly,
my special
girl...

"ALEXIS"
CH NEBRASCKA ALEXANDRITE
23.08.1997
- 17.09.2007
|
|
I lost a treasured friend today
My Alexis who used to lay
Her gentle head upon my knee
And share her silent thoughts with me...
She'll come no longer to my call
Play no more with her favorite ball
A voice far greater than my own
Has called her to His golden throne.
Although my eyes are filled with tears,
I thank Him for the happy years
He let her spend down here with me
And for her love and loyalty.
When it is time for me to go
And join her there, this much I know...
I shall not fear the transient dark
For she will greet me with her bark.
Alexis, you will always be in my heart ! |
 |
|
Alexis was our first
home bred champion.
She was a true little lady with a wonderful
nature which filtered down to her son Blaze
and daughter Sassy.
May you rest in peace, my sweet Angel.

"STORM"
CH KAMCHATKA RISING SON OF NEBRASCKA
24.09.1995
- 23.11.2006
|
|
 |
Storm was
purchased from Rosanna Joubert, Kamchatka Siberians. He was a slow maturing
male and has always been a rather busy body in our yard. We no longer
hear his
early morning howl, saying “Hei guys … where is my breakfast ?” I miss his
gentle paw resting on my arm while wanting a chest scratch. Storm has and
always will have a very special place in our hearts.
|
|
He is leaving behind a devastated human family and his friend Alexis, who is
still waiting for his return. |

"SKY"

13-01-2006
|
Sky came to us at a year old,
she is not leaving behind ribbons,
trophies or any progeny
but wonderful memories
that we will always carry with us.
Sky has always been a soft and gentle girl,
we will miss her gentle howl in the morning. Farewell my dear friend, until we
meet again! |

"CANDY"
06-01-1990 - 25-03-2002
|
 |
Candy passed away leaving us with 12 years of happy memories. She loved to steal my son's tennis balls, which she gave chase to along the passage.
Candy was of good nature and used to love her treats and her attention from her family. She will be sorely missed by all of us. |

"SHEBA"
10-12-1990 - 28-05-2002
|
|
Sheba passed away peacefully, with the vision of her family imprinted in her memory. She was my birthday wish come true, 11 ½ years ago. Sheba was the origin of our interest and passion for the Siberian Huskies. She was not decorated with ribbons and titles but she was the best companion for us. Always ready for a play, or catching her desert in the form of guinea fowls and wild pigeons.
Sheba has left our house empty, but our hearts filled with years of fond memories.

I LOVE YOU BEST ........... So this is were we part, My Friend, and you'll run on, around the bend, gone from sight, but not from mind, new pleasures there you'll surely find.
I will go on, I'll find the strength, life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave, share one last look, before I grieve. There are others, that much is true, but they be they, and they aren't you.
Your place I'll hold, you will be missed, the fur I stroked, the nose I kissed. And as you journey to your final rest, take with you this..........
I LOVED YOU BEST |
|
Sam has been a loyal and faithful friend for almost 16 years. Due to his old age and failing organs we had to let him go.
Sam, you will be sorely missed by all of us but we will always carry your wonderful memories with us. |
